Google Wave is a new model for communication and collaboration on the web, coming later this year.
Here's a preview of just some of the aspects of this new tool.

What is a wave?

A wave is equal parts conversation and document.People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.

A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

Microsoft’s Search for a Name Ends With a Bing

Bing is a web search engine created by Microsoft that replaces Live Search. Unveiled by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on May 28,2009, at the All Things D conference in San Diego, Bing is a rebranded version of Live Search, and will go live worldwide by June 3 2009.

Notable improvements in general searches include the addition of related searches (called "Explorer pane" on the left side of search results) based on semantic technology from PowerSet, a search company Microsoft purchased in 2008, search suggestions as you type, and the ability to keep track of your search history.
